The Summer of 1997

[JOHN AND JOANNE AT GARRY'S] [JOHN AND JOANNE ON WAVERUNNER]
My friend Garry owns a beautiful house on the banks of the Severn River in Annapolis, MD and every year he holds a blowout party for two or three hundred of his closest friends. In the second picture, Joanne and I ride a WaveRunner back to Garry's dock. Later on we spent a few hours partying with the folks in the enormous cabin cruiser at the right.

[JOHN AND STEVE AT THE SUN PAVILLION] [U.S. OPEN PASS] [JOHN AND STEVE IN THE SUN PAVILLION]
My buddy (and former Sun sales rep) Steve Beaulieu and I took a day to visit the U. S. Open at Congressional Country Club. Since the dweeb at the pavillion gate wouldn't let us in with our passes, we had to lie horribly to crash the Sun bungalow and load up on free beer and munchies. After we left, Stevie used his considerable sales talents to infiltrate our way to the very exclusive Terrace of the Clubhouse so we could mooch off of some other companies who brought shrimp, lobster, and champagne.

[ANNAPOLIS JAZZFEST] [JOHN AND JOANNE AT JAZZFEST]
